Members are elected from each of the five supervisory districts. The Board of Supervisors has the tasks of guiding and establishing policies for the complex multi-million dollar enterprise of county government. Members of the board of supervisors make decisions that directly impact economic development, public health and welfare and county roads.
The Office of the Board of Supervisors schedules the times of the meetings of the Board.
Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month. They are held on the 3rd floor of the new courthouse at 9:00 a.m.

FORMAL (OFFICIAL) AGENDAS
The “official agenda” is a brief listing of matters discussed and acted upon by the Board of Supervisors at each meeting. This is compiled by the Chancery Clerks Office and may be used as a research tool in order to locate specific Board actions.
