position of Comptroller. The Comptroller is employed by Warren County Board
of Supervisors and works under the direction of the County Administrator.

Qualifications required:
• Knowledge of accounting procedures as prescribed by the State Auditor’s
Office
• Personnel Management experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Skillful in Excel, i.e. formulas, drop-down boxes, complex spreadsheets,
etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
is required with 7 years of relevant work experience, or 10 years of work
experience in Accounting in lieu of college degree

Qualification desired:
• Professional certification or graduate degree

Warren County is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Director with specialized expertise in
Workday solutions to lead and manage our IT department, oversee technology projects, and
ensure the optimal functioning of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in Workday implementation, system integration, and optimization, as well as
experience in managing cross-functional teams and aligning IT strategies with organizational
goals. Responsible for the overall planning, organizing and execution of all IT functions for
Warren County. This involves directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well
as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical
solutions. Provides vision and leadership for the development, acquisition, implementation and
support related to IT functions.

2024 Elections

The Mississippi Association of Supervisors County Employee Scholarship Program will award scholarships to Applicants in each Mississippi county meeting the eligibility requirements below. Counties will receive up to two $500 scholarships based on the county’s participation in the MAS Insurance Trust (property and casualty insurance) and the MPE Workers Compensation Trust. Policy for the Accommodation of Utility Facilities Within the Rights-of-Way of all Public County Roads

The purpose of this Policy is to regulate the installation of utility facilities within the rights-of-way of the County­Federal Aid, State Aid Systems roads, and other public roads of Warren County, Mississippi. The County has the responsibility to maintain its highway rights-of-way in such a manner as will preserve the integrity, safety and function of the highway facilities. Since the manner in which utilities cross or otherwise occupy highway rights­of-way can affect the appearance, safety, and maintenance of the highway, it is necessary that such use and occupancy be authorized and reasonably regulated.
