Notice of Job Opening
Warren County is seeking a qualified person for the open position identified as Maintenance Technician for the Building and Grounds Department. This position is hourly based, employed by the Warren County Board of Supervisors under direct supervision of the Building and Grounds Director. The wage level for this position will be in the $15.00-$17.00 per hour range, depending on experience and skills.
The Technician must be:
- capable of working independently and handling a variety of repair and maintenance tasks based upon the list of building related fields shown below, which is not exclusive;
- capable of dealing with the general public, elected officials and County staff in a courteous and professional manner;
- available to address Building and Grounds issues after hours and on weekends when required;
The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of the following fields which encompass many phases of public buildings maintenance. Specialized knowledge of Electrical Systems will be considered a plus.
Electrical Plumbing Painting
Carpentry Painting Roofing
Grounds Maintenance General Facility Cleaning Floor Care
Landscaping Pressure Washing HVAC
Education Level – Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
